Joint Recovery Team Operations Support

Growing up in south Florida, Alan always had a love for the ocean and scuba diving. Alan moved to Texas and then joined the military and did not dive during that time. As his career was winding down he signed himself and his wife up for scuba classes while stationed in Tampa Fl. After 26 years his Love for the ocean had not changed. His Diving Certifications include:

  • PADI instructor
  • Handicapped Scuba Association instructor
  • PADI Tec 50 instructor candidate
  • PADI Tec 40 CCR certified
  • TDI Decompression Procedures Certified
  • TDI Advanced Nitrox
  • TDI Extended Range Certified
  • TDI TRIMIX certified
  • TDI Full Cave Certified

Presently Alan volunteers his time as the Dive Safety Officer for Task Force Dagger and is hoping to be a Project Manager for the Defense Personnel Accounting Agency in the future.

About Us

Since 2009, Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation has provided critical support to wounded, ill, or injured U.S. Special Operations Command members and their families. Task Force Dagger’s three core programs — Immediate Needs, Health Initiatives, and Rehabilitative Adaptive Events — quickly help when there’s an emergency, provide next-generation health solutions for issues, and organize events that help SOF members with recovery. As a veteran-operated nonprofit, Task Force Dagger understands the needs and experiences of the Special Operations Forces community. Each program is designed to heal, rebuild, and strengthen the service member and their family by providing mission, purpose, and focus.
