Joint Recovery Team Director

Working with Task Force Dagger has been a blessing for my family, filled my heart with joy, and given me purpose to help our SOF community after active duty.

Nate dropped out of college in 2003 to fulfill a sense of patriotic duty, and to find purpose in his life. Not sure of what he would actually do in the military, the Marine recruiter gave him a written intelligence test with several words spelled wrong. The Army recruiter offered the option of being a plumber or an abstract thing called the Green Berets. Having no idea what that was, the $3,240 bonus sealed the deal!

Serving 20+ years entirely within Army Special Operations, Nate retired in 2024. At 20 years old, his first operational year saw him graduating the Q-course, Ranger School, Combat Diver School and earning his CIB in Iraq. Nate soon found his groove in Scuba and Crisis Response Force teams. His last position as a Military Freefall Team Sergeant saw him closing down America’s longest war in Afghanistan and guiding the newer generation of warriors into a peacetime military.

Nate lives with his best friend Jenny in Colorado and together they raise 4 kids, including two with special needs. He is currently finishing his Master’s in Organizational Leadership.
