Director of Other Government Agencies

Rodney retired from Special Operations Command in August of 2021. Throughout his 22-year career, Rodney spent over 12 years in SOF’s 95th Civil Affairs BDE. Rodney has deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan and Northwest Africa, working with host nation forces, governments, non-governmental organizations and civilian partners in the support of U.S. national interests and regional stability support.

Post-retirement, Rodney worked as an ASIST instructor throughout North Carolina to bring awareness and support to teachers and administrators to better serve youth at risk for suicide. Rodney also volunteers his time with local veteran groups. Rodney also is the owner operator of a small business in the Fort Bragg, NC area as a SCUBA instructor. He has dedicated his time and expertise to bring SCUBA diving to veterans, civilians and their families.

Rodney also continues to serve the SOF community as the Director for Joint Recovery Operations for Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation (TFDSOF). He was a program recipient in 2021 during a SOCOM Military Adaptive Sports program in Key West with his family. Rodney and his family were so impressed with the program, they offered to volunteer with the foundation.

“I am humbled and honored to be able to employ my passion for SCUBA diving, teaching and serving my fellow SOF members and their families. Grateful doesn’t even begin to capture the feeling of participating in some of the most rewarding and meaningful work of my life.” Rodney Clark

About Us

Since 2009, Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation has provided critical support to wounded, ill, or injured U.S. Special Operations Command members and their families. Task Force Dagger’s three core programs — Immediate Needs, Health Initiatives, and Rehabilitative Adaptive Events — quickly help when there’s an emergency, provide next-generation health solutions for issues, and organize events that help SOF members with recovery. As a veteran-operated nonprofit, Task Force Dagger understands the needs and experiences of the Special Operations Forces community. Each program is designed to heal, rebuild, and strengthen the service member and their family by providing mission, purpose, and focus.
