MSG (Ret.) Geoff Dardia is a 24-year U.S. Army Special Forces veteran and subject matter expert in functional and performance-based medicine. During his military career, Geoff served with 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (A) in various roles including Weapons Sergeant, Intelligence Sergeant, and Operations Sergeant. He also deployed extensively in support of operations in the CENTCOM and AFRICOM theaters and later served as the Wounded Warrior Liaison for USSOCOM.
While still serving, Geoff founded TFDSOF’s SOF Health Initiatives Program in 2012, aiming to close gaps in care for SOF personnel. Now serving full-time as Program Director, he leads efforts that provide cutting-edge assessments and personalized treatment pathways for SOF warriors and their families—addressing issues such as TBI, toxic exposures, neuroendocrine dysfunction, and trauma.
He is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCHC), Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), and VA-certified Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC). Geoff continues to advise government and academic bodies on the intersection of warfighter health, performance, and post-service transition. His work and advocacy have been featured in national publications such as Men’s Health, The New York Times, Military Times, and on military podcasts including SOFcast.
In his role with TFDSOF, Geoff brings a relentless commitment to advancing health solutions and ensuring no SOF family faces their challenges alone.
