Executive Director

Lindsey Schiro has supported hundreds of Special Operations families throughout her over decade long career in the nonprofit sector. She has worked on behalf of the Green Beret Foundation, The Honor Foundation, and served, most recently, as Chief Executive Officer of 51 Vets.

She studied Psychology at Colby-Sawyer College, and obtained an Executive Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Duke University.

She has been appointed to numerous military benevolent Boards and committees throughout her career. She has been awarded as a “20 Under 40” in Moore County, North Carolina for her work with the military community. She has also served as a HillVets Lead Protege – one of twenty-six nationally selected military connected individuals to take on veteran and military issues on Capitol Hill. Through her career, Lindsey has been featured on nationally ranked podcasts speaking about veteran transition into the civilian workforce.

Outside of work, Lindsey loves volunteering in her local community, playing golf, and chasing after her three children.
She is honored to be appointed as the next Executive Director of Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation, and is excited to work and grow with the team within the organization, while continuing to serve the individuals who give so much – the Special Operations community.
